Norfolk Island Around Island Relay 2023

About

The course for the Around the Island Relay Race is 25km and can be run/walked as an individual or team event.

Teams can comprise two, three or six runners /walkers completing one, two or three consecutive legs. Each team member must complete a separate entry form, advising names of the other members of the team.

There will be water stations at each changeover point

Age Limit

This event is also age and sex factored based on the WMA Age-Graded Tables for a 25 km local standard event for men and women and adjusted on the basis of the distance covered by each runner/walker. Runner's starting times will be progressive and the winner/winners will be first across the line whether team or individual. Walker's will all start at the same time and the winner/winners will be will be calculated from handicaps after race completion.

Age will be calculated as at the date of the race in one year age categories.

All school aged entrants must have parental/guardian permission to compete and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event.

COVIDSafe

Athletics Norfolk Island committee have a covidsafe plan and will follow protocols to ensure all event attendees are Covidsafe.

I hereby declare that I am in good health and will be properly conditioned for the events I have entered. I absolutely relieve Athletics Norfolk Island and all other parties in any way involved in the conduct of the Norfolk Island Around Island Relay of responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to me or my property which I may sustain in the course of or in connection with this athletic event. I authorize the use of my name, voice or picture and any information on this entry form to be used without payment to me in any broadcast, telecast, promotion or advertising or in any way related to this event.
