About the Event
Athletics Norfolk Island is inviting the community to take part in the inaugural Kingston Running Festival on Sunday, 13 September 2026. Beginning at 8.00 am, the festival combines competitive racing with social walking and family fun, set against the backdrop of the Kingston and Arthur's Vale Historic Area.
The morning opens with the 5km Championship Run at 8.00 am, followed by the 5km Corporate Challenge at 8.10 am. Young runners aged five to 12 take on the 2km Junior Dash at 8.40 am, before the festival closes with the free 1km Community Colour Run and Walk at 9.30 am, where participants are welcome to run or walk.
Designed for the whole community, the festival welcomes first-time runners, casual walkers, experienced athletes, workplace teams, clubs, community groups and families. Participants can chase a personal best, rally their workplace or team, cheer on a young runner, or simply enjoy an active morning…
